The EDC initiative

The EDC initiative aims to build a global network of excellence, for generating and disseminating knowledge about cooperative agribusiness in developing countries, promoting and facilitating north-south and south-south inter-cooperation, and scaling-up good cooperative development practices.

To do so, the EDC initiative promotes and facilitates information sharing (see news & opportunities), cross-country exchanges and participation in international academic and policy-making fora among the various members of its network. The latter includes the following organizations, with whom EDC has successfully collaborated in the past or it is still collaborating today:

Development Agencies

Research/Education Institutes

Service Providers

Farmer Organizations and Agricultural Cooperatives
